About Cap sur le Thé: a story born on the water
⚓ The Crew: A Family Adventure
The journey begins in a cup
Cap sur le Thé is a family business born from a shared passion for authentic flavors, exceptional products, and distant horizons.
Behind this adventure are Christelle, Ethan, and Aymeric, a crew united by the same love of discovery. Our story unfolds between Landes and Port-Leucate, on the shores of the Mediterranean, where our sailboat AIOLOS is moored.
More than just a boat, AIOLOS embodies our way of seeing the world: taking our time, following our curiosity, and choosing each port of call with care. This spirit guides everything we do today.
A passion born from a childhood memory
It all began with a simple ritual.
As a child, I often shared a cup of Earl Grey with my grandmother. Beyond the aromas, this time together represented a moment of connection, a precious pause in the day.
These memories left me with a deep conviction: a well-chosen drink does more than warm your hands. It brings people together, accompanies a moment of calm, and can become the starting point of a memory that lasts for years.
Over the years, this passion has grown richer through travels, encounters, and discoveries. An origin, a fragrance, or a single leaf can evoke a distant garden, a season, or a landscape. It is this ability to transport the senses that we wish to share.

A discerning, uncompromising selection

We have made a clear choice: to prioritize loose-leaf tea and set aside standardized industrial products.
We work with a leading importer based in Europe, renowned for its expertise, integrity, and attention to both terroir and producers. This partnership allows us to select premium products with rich, authentic flavor profiles.
Green teas, black teas, oolongs, fine teas, rooibos, or infusions: each product is chosen for its quality, balance, and character.
Before joining our collection, each creation is tasted and approved by our family. We only offer what we would truly enjoy serving at our own table.
Flavors that tell the story of a destination
We imagine our collection as a travel journal.
Some creations lead to the fresh, vegetal gardens of Japan. Others reveal deep, woody, or spicy notes. Fruity and floral blends open up brighter, more indulgent ports of call.
Every cup has its own character. It can accompany a peaceful morning, an afternoon break, a shared moment, or a few quiet minutes at the end of the day.
Our role is to help you find the one that suits your tastes, your mood, and your way of savoring the moment.
The bespoke counter
Because the most beautiful discoveries are sometimes the ones we imagine ourselves, we also create custom blends to order.
A particular combination of flavors, a gift, an event, or simply the desire for a creation that is uniquely yours: we carefully consider every request.
Our knowledge of aromas allows us to create a balanced, harmonious blend with a truly distinctive character.
An independent business close to its customers
Choosing Cap sur le Thé means entering the world of a small, independent family business.
Behind every order, there is no impersonal selection or catalog chosen from afar. There is a passionate family, attentive to both the quality of the products and the experience of those who enjoy them.
We prepare each package with care and remain available to advise you, help you choose, or guide you in discovering new flavors.
We could have kept this passion to ourselves. We chose to share it, convinced that a simple cup can transform an ordinary moment into a precious memory.
Cap sur le Thé was born from a family, a sailboat, and a deep love of wonderful discoveries.
If our creations find a place in your everyday life, then our greatest journey has already begun.

A family story centered around tea
Cap sur le Thé was born from a simple desire: to share fine teas, take the time to discover them, and create real moments around them.
At home, tea is part of our daily life. It accompanies conversations, breaks, recipe experiments, projects… and now the very serious explorations of TAO, our 3-month-old Sphynx elf, the newest addition to the family.
Curious about everything, he has naturally joined us at tea time and is now part of those little moments we love to share with you.
Behind the shop, there is therefore a discerning selection, but also a family, habits, experiments, homemade treats, and many simple moments around a cup.
That is also the spirit of Cap sur le Thé.

Welcome aboard. ⚓
