Plain mate or a gourmet blend: which one to choose?
Cap au Vert offers a single-ingredient blend: green mate, with no added flavoring. Quart de Café combines green mate with coffee and cocoa, for an iced coffee flavor. Check the ingredients on each product page to choose what suits your taste.
How do you prepare mate as an infusion?
For both varieties in this selection, use 14 to 17 g per litre of water at 100°C for 5 to 10 minutes. For a 250 ml cup, this corresponds to 3.5 to 4.25 g. Remove the leaves, then allow it to cool to a pleasant temperature before enjoying. Always follow the specific instructions on each product page.
