Do not pack the leaves too tightly inside. They need a minimum amount of space to hydrate and release their aromas. For very large leaves that expand significantly, a wider infuser basket will remain more suitable.

For large whole-leaf teas that take up a lot of volume during steeping, opt for a more spacious infuser.
